Welcome! yoga flow Class with Rachel VerValin

9:15 am - 10:15 am

Everyone is invited to join in and kick off this year's event with a welcoming yoga flow class suitable for all levels. In this class, Rachel will guide participants through a series of postures and poses to wake up the body, create space, and tune in to the breath, body, and mind - preparing for the day ahead. Students of Heart Thread Yoga's 200hr Yoga Alliance certified Teacher Training program, which was created by Rachel and is currently in session, will assist Rachel with this introductory practice.

Mindful Yoga

with Alison Christiansen

New to yoga? Or looking to add more mindfulness to your practice? If so, this class is for you! Students will have the opportunity to: learn breathing techniques for reducing stress; explore a foundations-level physical practice with an emphasis on alignment and safety; and start experiencing the wonderful benefits of yoga! In her classes, Alison emphasizes taking a self-compassionate approach to yoga and encourages students to integrate mindfulness techniques on and off the mat. Come learn, relax and renew!

Hot warrior flow

Tap into your inner strength through determination and curiosity with this creative fusion of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, developed by international yoga teacher and anatomist, Jennilee Toner.  As you build heat from the inside out, this invigorating practice will awaken the muscles of the body in a powerful, creative, and safe sequence. Many modifications and variations will be given throughout the class, making it accessible for all levels. Know and be one with your inner warrior!

Acroyoga playshop - try something new!

With gina newlin

Open your practice with grace and ease as you learn to collaborate with a partner. This workshop touches upon all of the disciplines that AcroYoga offers, combining Yoga, Acrobatics and Thai Massage.  Grounded in the breath, we will draw upon the natural forces of gravity and "Metta" loving kindness to encourage the body to let go of fear and tension. The class includes: Circle Ceremony, Mirrored Asana, Partner Yoga Flow, Flying Sequences, and Thai Massage.

Students are requested to have familiarity with yoga - you don't have to have a ton of experience, and you don't need acro experience.

No partner necessary, just bring your inner child!

BODY WISDOM

WITH ILANA BERMAN

Ilana teaches from a place of non-judgmental and compassionate appreciation of the body, utilizing breath centered movement as a way to notice and release old habits, stress, and tension, and to embrace self-love and self-expression. In this class we will use grounding poses, flowy exploration, and an inspirational sound track to encourage movement beyond the mechanical and into a place of surrender to the body's deep knowing, achieving greater freedom at every level. Find the present moment, challenge your personal edge, and blissfully let go.

YIN YOGA

A gentle and subtle form of yoga meant to slow us down.  Ideal for beginners or seasoned yogis, including high impact power yogis or even the Cross-Fit athlete who is looking to balance their practice.

POwer VINYASA

With Hannah Volpi

An energizing and fun yoga class, geared for all levels.  Whether you are a beginner or an experienced student, you will be challenged, invigorated, and able to find ease in your practice.  Linking the movement to the breath, the class focuses on seated and standing asanas or poses.
